Ford Triton engines for some reason tend to blown the spark plug out of the hole, usually #4 or #3 on the passenger side. And of course, they are the hardest ones to get access to. One solution is to remove the head. That’s pretty costly. So, of course some tool companies have come up with a tool to make this job easier. I’ve personally done this a dozen or more times and so far they’ve all held. However, you must use the tool kit. There’s no way to do it without it. But don’t be afraid of it. It can be done and you’ll save your customer a bunch of money.
